Would you like God to roll out the red carpet for you? In 2 Peter we see a phrase that seems a little odd to us: "entrance into the eternal Kingdom...will be abundantly supplied to you." In our culture we might call this "a warm welcome," "a lavish reception;" one where "they rolled out the red carpet." The idea is: You'll know for sure that you're home, and that everyone there is glad to see you!
