And no temple. Finally, God will complete His goal of unbroken fellowship with man. So there will be no need for a veil and smoke and walls to separate us from His perfect love. "Then I saw a great white throne...." John describes the final judgment in stark language. There's no reason for confusion or "mystery" here. Some will be judged by their deeds; others have their names written in the Book of Life. “And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” No amount of good and noble and religious works can save one person from the "second death."
