When God cuts people some slack. A few times in Romans, chapter 1 we read that God "gave them over," or "abandoned them." He left obstinate humans to their own devices. Cut them some slack. Gave them free rein. And enough rope to hang themselves. If it seems like the Lord is MIA in the culture wars, that could be why. But He has left testimonies of His truth - including us.
